This service is intended for anyone who wants to write a book or a story but either isn’t sure how to start, or perhaps has got the dreaded “writers’ block”.
It doesn’t matter what age you are, or whether your intended project is fiction or non-fiction, short story or book-length. You might want to write an action-adventure, or you might want to tell your family’s history. Whatever your project, it will need first to be planned and then to be written. This might be stating the obvious but it’s not always as easy as it sounds.
Perhaps your thoughts are in a muddle? Perhaps you’re not sure of your starting point? Perhaps you know the ending but not the beginning? Maybe you have a beginning and an end but no idea how to join the two together?
If any of these apply, then a Mentor could certainly help.
Your Can Write Will Write Mentor will help you with every aspect of your project, be it planning, research, collating or organising. During the writing process your Mentor will also critique and help you improve your writing. This will probably involve you sending weekly or monthly updates. Your Mentor will read them and encourage you, making suggestions where necessary.
Once the project is complete, your Mentor will help you polish and edit your work, making it as perfect as possible.
Depending on your own aspirations for your work, we can also advise you on the various publishing options open to you, from submitting to agents and main-line publishers through to reputable self-publishing and e-publishing. We do not endorse vanity publishing.
We cannot guarantee that by using our Mentoring service your work will be snapped up by a large publishing house. But we can guarantee to make your writing the very best it can be,
thus maximising your chances.
Charges: Our Mentoring Service is a bespoke service tailored to each client’s individual needs and is calculated around an hourly rate. Typically this will be around £38 per hour.
Please email us with details of your project and requirements and we will send you a personal quote.
Publish as an eBook
When your book is the finished article, we may be interested in
publishing it as an eBook. Apart from
making money from sales, you will get your work out there and
increase your chances of attracting traditional publishers. For
